"ROY'S HOUSE" Art book read-aloud and projects inspired by the art of Roy Lichtenstein
This lesson includes a read aloud book together with art - specifically POP art! The famous artist, Roy Lichtenstein, is identified with Pop Art, a movement he helped originate. Lichtenstein's first paintings were based on imagery from comic strips & advertisements. His style reminded viewers of the crude printing processes of newspaper reproduction.
